Silver Airways - Terrible Customer Service Rep

Prepare for the most uncomfortable flight of your life. Most of their planes do not have air conditioning which actually caused a flight to turn around after a passenger passed out from heat exhaustion.

But the absolute worst is their customer service line only has 2 reps. They both work from home and they answer calls when they feel like it. They also have caller ID and will let you sit on hold for hours and hang up right at 6pm. If you have any issues and need to speak to customer service you will need to call from a different number than the one you booked your ticket with.

I've had to lose 4 flights total (around $1,100) because I paid extra to be able to change my flight date but called every day for 7-10 days without anyone picking up or returning calls. They have shady policies with charging fees that have no explanation. They cancelled my flight last minute and then charged me to reschedule- easy way for them to make money.

Book flights, cancel, charge more to reset. Worst airline

Silver Airways canceled my flight, they wanted 90.00 to reschedule for the next day.I declined and they said they would issue a refund. Twice I was told I would receive a refund in 7-10 business days. Three months have passed, no refund, and unable to get through to anyone on the phone.

My flight was canceled at 3:55am this morning. My family and I flew to Orlando with silver airways. Flight was supposed to leave at 12 this afternoon. Not another flight for 2 days. The flight is 146. Not to mention is 6 of us flying with this airways. No rentals available today and have to be to work tomorrow. Not much help was customer service. I would like a full refund for the troubles they've caused. I am 8 hrs. Away from home

like others have said they don't contact you even after booking a flight or when a flight is cancelled. This is the worst airlines in the US. You'd be better off taking the greyhound. Do yourself a favor and avoid booking this with this airlines. Silver Airways makes Spirit and JetBlue feel like the Air Force 1. It would be better to spend your money elsewhere. I warn you DO NOT BOOK!

My flight was canceled and there's not another flight for 2 days. Wasn't very helpful or concerned. I m 8 hrs. Away from home. My family and I went on vacation to Orlando. It's 6 of us that flew silver airways. There's no rentals available today. Not to mention I supposed to back to work tomorrow.

Today is my second day trying to get a hold on Silver Airways customer service. I was on hold for about four hours yesterday and today the count is two hours and thirty three minutes.

All I am trying to do is add two checked bags to my flight. They do not have the option to do it online, and either tell you to call to add it, or pay extra at the airport. I really don't mind paying their extra fee at the airport, but since they tend to limit the baggage depending on the season, I'd like to have everything done before hand. I wrote an email to customer relations and this is the robot-like answer I got from Jean:

"Thank you for contacting Silver Airways.

You can purchase the luggage with an agent of Silver Airways on the airport. The other option would be to contact our Call Center at 801-401-**** from 8am-7pm.

Below there will be a link for the policies of baggage."

As you can tell, they don't even care to apologize for anything. This company is not even worth doing business with, and I won't after this.

Refund for canceled flight

This is the SECOND flight I booked with Silver Airlines where they cancelled the flight last minute without an email or text attesting to the fact. Showed up for an early morning flight on 2 different occasions and was told at the gate the flight was cancelled.

Trying to get a refund is a total challenge! Customer service does not answer the phone or emails I send regarding my refund. If this airline wants to be legit, they need to start being professional.

My next step is initiating a dispute through my credit card which is ridiculous. I am giving them a 1 star rating only because there is no option for a ZERO!!

I have been trying to contact silver airways trough emails and through phone calls. no answers from no one. I purchased a ticket for a friend and hours later he told me he would not be able to travel due to his health getting worst. I want to cancel the ticket I bought and I also want a refund. But silver airways are very quick to charge your card, but to good at customer service. Very disappointed on how they do business.

I bought this ticket , upon my arrival at the airport to check in 2 hours prior to my checkin , I went to the checkin desk, the lady I meet told me the got a flight delayed for 2 hours .she told me that that the flight was in Bahamas and will be available by 12:00 midnight .
I told the ok I keep waiting till after 11:45 I went back to the lady I could not found here there I waited till she came , and she told me that , the flight was cancel that there will be no more flight and she dont know when the flight will resumed .
Then I dident know what to do next because I was supposed to have a connections from Fort Lauderdale and if I dont get to Fort Lauderdale , I will missed my connection.
I asked the lady , what can I do now , she told me she didnt know and my only options is to check on other flights . I was very frustrated at the time , I pull out my phone and start searching for flight availability because there was not time for me to wait .
I was able to see united airline online I talked to them and I was able to book a flight from Jacksonville fl to my next connection for $500 .in other for me to get connected to the rest of my flights .
I have been calling your customer service for the longest I wasnt able to get to speak to no body , I drives with my wife to the airport in other to talk to anyone responsible , but there was no one at the time .

REFUND FOR MY FLIGHT!!!!

My daughter, Natasha Benzadon, was scheduled on flight no. 3M141 (Confirmation no.: DYUYUE) today, October 19th from Gainesville, FL to Ft.

Lauderdale. It was originally scheduled to leave at 8:30pm. I received notification yesterday that it would be leaving 11:57pm - and then I received a notification today advising of another delay until 12:36am. My daughter arrived at the Gainesville airport at 10:00pm tonight and was advised that the TSA screening had closed at 9:30pm and therefore she would not be allowed to board the flight.

Not only did I have to book another flight on a different airline for her to come home tomorrow, but this delay is causing her to miss a very important medical appointment scheduled for 9am tomorrow. I have been trying to reach someone to discuss this with since yesterday, but I cannot reach a human being. I would like an immediate refund of this flight back to my credit card.
